Here are the upcoming events within the Sharnbrook Deanery.


Friday 7th

SHARNBROOK COMMUNITY CHOIR CONCERT: The Sharnbrook Community Choir present a concert of contemporary, gospel, inspirational, folk and traditional songs. This will be held at St Mary's Church Carlton at 7:30pm. Tickets are £8 (including wine and nibbles) available from PCC members and will also be available on the door.

Saturday 8th

RISELEY VILLAGE SHOW: 8:30-10:30am Competition entries. 1:00pm public admission. £2 per person, school age children go free. There will be a selection of stalls, games, amusements, a swing band, classic and racing cars. Also featuring a new dog show and also Children's train rides. An event for all the family. All procedes go to Riseley Village Hall.

Monday 17th

DEANERY SYNOD MEETING: 7:30pm at Bletsoe Village Hall. Dean Pusey, Diocesan Youth Officer will be speaking.

Tuesday 18th

Licensing of Revd James Isaacs as Rector of Riseley with Bletsoe: 7:30pm at All Saints Church Riseley.


Saturday 6th

ELY CATHEDRAL PILGRIMAGE: Chellington Team are organising a visit to Ely Cathedral, which will also include a visit to their dedicated stained glass museum. There are a limited number of spare coach spaces available, which they are opening up to the rest of Sharnbrook deanery. The cost will be approx. £25 per head which includes coach, a tour of the Cathedral at 10:00 am, and the stained glass museum. After that you're free to wander the shops, or the river is about 10 minutes walk away and have lunch. The coach pick ups are 8am from Carlton school and 8:10 from Turvey cross, returning for around 6pm. If interested contact Revd. J.Curtis or Rev.d P.Turnbull on 01234 720262 asap.

Monday 22nd

Licensing of Revd Catherine Wilson as Vicar for the Benefice of Bromham, Oakley and Stagsden: 7:30pm at St Mary's Oakley.


Monday 19th
